Installation and RequirementsChoosing your Hot Tub
Access A very important part of the installation is the delivery as we will situtate yourb hot tub onto its base/pad, unlike some suppliers who may just leave it on your driveway! All our hot tubs are deliveries using a specialist trailer and will be transported from the trailer on a spa dolly. Please be aware of any height restrictions you may have, and ensure that if any tight turns that might need to be made. Base Please remember that a hot tub full of water can weigh up to 3000kg! Your hot tub needs to be situated on a minimum of a quality patio base. If you are having a concrete base built it would need to be a minimum of 100mm thick and be slightly larger than the base of the hot tub. If it's being situated on decking then this will need to be reinforced accordingly. Electrical Supply A fully qualified electrical engineer is required to wire in your hot tub. All our hot tubs require their own dedicated power supply. If you have any queries with your requirments of electrical supply or advice please do not hesitate to contact us. Water CareWater Supply All our hot tubs are completely stand along and do not have to be plumbed in to any water supply or drainage. The hot tub just needs a location where it can be filled, usually with a standard hose pipe. All our hot tubs have their own drain valve which can be connected up to a hose and drained away. Water Care You don't need to drain a hot tub after each use, water changes are normally done every 3 months depending on use. But it is very important to maintain water quality to keep the water clean. All our hot tubs have their own filtration system. The filter cartridge will need to be removed and rinsed out with a hose regularly and replaced approximately every 4 to 6 months, again depending on use. We can supply all necessary chemicals and advice for looking after your water and tub. |
